Alexei Navalny was one of those people who believed in something so strongly that he was willing to knowingly sacrifice his life for the cause.

There are so few examples of people like him in history. He was truly a martyr.

I read a book several years ago by Egyptian historian named

Yuval Noah Harari, titled Homo Sapiens: a brief history of mankind. It was fascinating! As humans, we swing on a pendulum that is constantly moving left - center - right and back again. The fascinating thing is that it happens on a global scale. Long before we were capable of disseminating news and information quickly, we still followed a similar pattern worldwide. (Almost like having a hive mind.)

Anyway…

It’s happening now. The rise of totalitarianism, nationalism, and cruelty towards one another is present everywhere.

But, the knee-jerk reaction to that is to push back towards the middle.

And WOMEN are at the forefront of that revolt.

But we cannot do it alone. We need men to help us accomplish our goal. We need the type of men who are more enlightened, less hyper-masculine, and willing - like Navalny - to work towards the common good.

Sorry for my long winded reply, but it’s a subject that’s near and dear to my heart.

To be just a “tiny bit” more concise: I agree with you! 😂

I made a mistake in the title of Harari’s book:

The title is Sapiens: a brief history of mankind
